April-23rd-2013 — U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr. announced today that a federal grand jury in Buffalo has charged Tariq Brown, 20, with the May 12, 2012 shooting at Martin Luther King Park that left Marquay Lee dead and four other individuals wounded. Two of the injured persons suffered permanent injuries, one victim is now a paraplegic and another was blinded in one eye.. Read More.

April-12th-2013 — Buffalo police homicide detectives have announced a second arrest in the death of 96 year old Levi Clayton. Detectives have arrested 19 year old Jordan McKinnon of Buffalo and charged him with burglary and robbery in the 1st degree.  Read More.

BPD CHARGE HUSBAND IN WIFE'S DEATH.

March-12th-2013 — Buffalo police have arrested and charged Antoine D. Mattox, 32 years old, for the murder of Nedra E.Thomas-Mattox, 38, on Andover Avenue. Northeast District police were originally called to the scene around 3:25 Monday afternoon, and found the woman deceased in a rear bedroom of the house. Police had identified Antoine Mattox as a person of interest early in the investigation, after police learned he left the house around 1:30 in the afternoon. He was located by Rochester police, inside the Greyhound Bus Station on Cumberland Street in Rochester. The suspect was returned to Buffalo, and questioned by homicide squad detectives.  Read More.

BPD SEEKS PUBLIC'S HELP IN CAB DRIVER DEATH.

March-8th-2013 — Buffalo police are continuing to investigate the murder of a local cab driver, Mazen M. Abdallah, and are reaching out through the media, for the public's help.The taxi was found in the 700 block of Norfolk Avenue, with the driver found dead in the back-seat. Police have already asked for anyone with knowledge on the whereabouts of the cab between five and seven o'clock in the morning, Wednesday, to notify police. The vehicle was a white Lincoln Town Car with the number 57 prominently displayed, marked with the Airport Taxi logo.  Read More.

March-6th-2013 — Buffalo police homicide detectives are investigating the homicide of a 55 year old cab driver Detectives say the deceased body of the Buffalo man was discovered by a fellow worker at approximately 7am Wednesday morning in the 700 block of Norfolk Avenue near Kensington Avenue.  Read More.

Feb-26th-2013 — Buffalo police homicide detectives have arrested an individual in connection with a January 2012 fatal shooting. Detectives Salvatore Valvo and James Lema charged 21 year old Laquann Morgan of Buffalo with murder in the 2nd degree in the shooting death of 25 year old Adrian L. Huggins Jr.  Read More.
