Buffalo Police Continue to Alert Women About Sexual Attacker

Buffalo Police are continuing their investigation into a robber/sexual attacker who had struck at least six different times in and around the Gates Circle area. The attacks occurred in about a week to ten day span starting in mid September. Police Investigators don't believe the suspect has struck since September 26th. The suspect is described as a black male in his mid 20's, medium complexion, about 5'9 to 6'0, medium build, with short dark hair. He wears a zipper style hoody, grey or green in color, and always wears it open or unzipped. All the attacks have happened between 8pm and 1am in the morning. Women are urged to take safety precautions including traveling with a partner, a friend, or in a group. Also you're urged to call 911 immediately if you see anything suspicious. The six attacks have occurred in the 700 block of Potomac Ave., Potomac & Brantford, East Delavan and Spillman, Elmwood & Hodge, the 100 block of Richmond and Atlantic and Lexington.
