Crime Report for Friday, October 19th


Buffalo Police Homicide Detectives have identified the body found Thursday afternoon under a pile of tires near Dewey Street and Canton Alley on the city's East side. The victim has been identified as 26 year old Avery L. Stone of Kensington Avenue. Homicide Detectives were called to the scene on Thursday around 1:30pm after a passerby made the discovery. Buffalo Police have also released the name of a man who was electrocuted while attempting to remove copper from the old Trico Building on Ellicott. 26 year old Russell Reuman of Buffalo remains in critical condition at ECMC. Police believe Reuman entered the building by unknown means and once inside attempted to remove the copper. Reuman accidentally touched an electrical transformer box and was electrocuted.
