BPD Recover Vehicle After Early Morning Homicide


Buffalo Police have recovered a vehicle they believe was stolen following an early morning homicide on Navel Avenue. The 2000 gray Chrysler 300 was located by a patrol officer about 1pm Tuesday afternoon in the 300 block of May Street.

Buffalo Homicide Detectives continue looking for the two suspects following the homicide that happened about 12:30am Tuesday morning. Detectives believe the two suspects forced their way into the home, demanded cash, and then shot the male victim. 28 year old Kevin Carter died later at ECMC.

Detectives believe the victim was targeted in the attack. The two suspects are described as black males; one about 5'6, skinny build with braided hair. The other suspect is described as about 5'2, thin build and in his 20's.
