Buffalo Man Arrested by Task Force

Brannon JamelOn Thursday July 30, 2009, members of the United States Marshals’ Service Fugitive Task Force, consisting of US Deputy Marshals, State Police, Buffalo Police, and Niagara County Sheriff’s Department arrested JAMEL BRANNON, age 33, 168 Olympic St Buffalo, on an Erie County Court Warrant charging him with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class B Felony. The warrant stems from a New York State Police and Buffalo Police narcotics investigation last fall, named “Operation Trick or Treat” in which Brannon was named as the drug “kingpin”. He has remained a fugitive since that time. Brannon was arrested by Task Force member Detective Brendan Kiefer, at 301 Baynes Ave. Brannon’s arrest was a result of an anonymous Crime Stoppers tip, after the tipster spotted him on the Buffalo’s Ten Most Wanted Poster. He was lodged in the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment on the warrant.
