Police Search for South Buffalo Bank Bandit

Buffalo police are investigating a mid-morning bank robbery that occurred in the 2100 block of Seneca Street.

South District officers responded to the call at approximately 10:15am Friday morning, Oct. 2nd.

Police believe the suspect, entered the Key Bank branch, handed the teller a note and then made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police say the suspect jumped into a waiting vehicle. That vehicle has been described as a newer model maroon sedan.

The suspect is described as a: black male, 6ft, 230lbs, wearing a navy colored military coat and winter hat.
