BPD Investigate Shooting Outside of Sr. Citizens Apartment
Buffalo police continue to investigate a shooting that occurred Wednesday afternoon, August 12th, in the 800 block of William Street. Police believe the 61 year old victim; Larry Crosland was outside of the Monsignor Adamski Apartments at around 3pm when he was caught in crossfire. The victim, who is a resident of the complex, was rushed to the Erie County Medical Center where he remains in critical condition. Detectives believe that gunfire was exchanged by individuals about a block away at William and Townsend Street when Crosland was struck in the upper body by a stray bullet. Police believe they’ve recovered a vehicle used in the shooting.
