BPD Recover Stolen Money After Bank Robbery

Buffalo police are investigating a late morning bank robbery at the M&T Bank, 3037 Bailey Avenue.

"E" District officers responded to the call at approximately 11am Tuesday morning, March 16th.

Police say the suspect, a black male, approximately 20 years old, 5'8, 160-170 lbs., handed the teller a note demanding money.

After the suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money, police were able to recover some of the money in a nearby parking lot at Bailey and Kensington.

Police also recovered other items near the scene.
