ANNOUNCING the Buffalo Police Department’s
YOUTH POLICE ACADEMY FOR
7TH AND 8TH GRADE STUDENTS.

ATTENTION 7TH AND 8TH GRADERS!
Come to the Buffalo Police Department’s 17th Annual Youth Police Academy on Saturday, March 24, 2012
9:00am - 3:00pm at 74 Franklin Street
 
Learn about cyber crime, drug prevention, bullying, and how to maintain a healthy lifestyle for teens.  Meet other kids and talk to experts from the Buffalo Police Department and other agencies. Learn how to join the Police Explorer Scouts. Each student will get a graduation certificate and community service credit. There is no charge for the Academy. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

Applications are available from your School Principal or by calling 851-4523.

Applications must be in no later than Friday, March 16, 2012. Only 100 slots are available – so hurry and sign up!

The Academy is made possible by the support of the Buffalo Police Department, the FBI Foundation and the West Side Community Center, the Citizen Preparedness Centers, BPD Explorer Post#102, Buffalo State College and Medaille College Interns, and a donation by Rich Products.
