BPD Investigating Homicide of Cab Driver

BPD Chief of Detectives, Dennis J. Richards, updates media on cab driver homicide
Buffalo police homicide detectives are investigating the homicide of a 55 year old cab driver

Detectives say the deceased body of the Buffalo man was discovered by a fellow worker at approximately 7am Wednesday morning in the 700 block of Norfolk Avenue near Kensington Avenue.

Detectives confirm that the cab driver was found in the back seat of his cab.

Chief of Detectives, Dennis J. Richards, said Wednesday afternoon that police are attempting to account for the cab driver’s whereabouts between 5AM-7AM Wednesday morning. Richards also identified the vehicle as a white Lincoln Town Airport Taxi with the cab number #57 on the car.
