BPD Looking for Suspicious Vehicle in North Buffalo Child Incident

Buffalo police are looking for a person of interest after a report that an individual had approached a young child in a suspicious manner in the North Buffalo area.

The incident occurred in the Delaware Avenue-Middlesex-Meadow area apparently Wednesday evening, April 17th at 6pm.

Police say an individual, driving a cobalt or royal blue Ford pick-up truck, pulled into a driveway and attempted to lure a young boy towards the truck. The boy then ran inside his home.

The person of interest is believed to be a white male, in his 30's, with dark hair.

Witnesses tell police that the vehicle was also apparently seen Friday afternoon in the same area and also near Elmwood-Franklin School.
