Police Alert Residents to Craigslist Robberies

Area police agencies are alerting residents in connection with three recent Craigslist armed robberies. The incidents occurred the week of November 24th.

Authorities say the suspect called the victims, set up a place and time to purchase what they posted on Craigslist and then robbed them of their property.

The items taken included an X-box and IPad.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 6'1, possibly mid to late 20's in age, no facial hair and displaying a black handgun.

Police say the suspect has set up meeting places on Winspear Avenue and on Germain Street and goes by the name of "Calvin" or "Derrick".

Anyone with information is asked to contact their local police agency.
