Suspect Hits Mobil Store

Buffalo Police are investigating a late morning robbery at the "Mobil on the Run" in the 500 block of Elmwood Avenue at Lexington Avenue. The incident happened just after 11:35am. Police say a suspect, entered the store, leaned over the counter and grabbed the cash register. A brief scuffle ensued between store employees and the suspect. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money but not the cash register. The suspect fled on foot. He's described as a dark skinned black male, in his late 20's or early 30's, 5'7-5'8, wearing an oversized maroon or dark red shirt and blue jeans.
